Session 10-Target Everard Keep

Arre Session 10

The Forsaken gain the lay of the land around Sagentown while they are staying at the Lord’s Inn Discretion. A group discussion session ensues.
Somewhat more than a week (actually eight days) remains to plan and attack Havelin. Tim gives us a dossier on the whole town and the tower we need to neutralize. Apparently it is worth noting that he has made himself extremely useful and is competent and loyal to Valak’s tutelage.
The Captains are sized up: Captain Iron Sam Garhold in command-Everard Keep
Captain Math and his wayward wife-ascertain status of the affair.
Captain Edderly who is cuckolding him-the party decides to gather more information if possible to sow dissent between these two.
Captain Varning, who patrols the area-the party decides to ambush his group while he is habitually walking about.
Tacitus the Mage and his ravens-these will be neutralized by poison introduced into birdseed and confusion during the attack will be sowed by a wizard or the warlock copying his appearance. Amadeus pens a fan letter for meeting to discuss magic guy stuff and feel him out.
Mama Giuseppe brings her famous stew to the soldiers- if possible, their pre-attack meal will give them the shits.
Barnabas Eisenbach commands the Dwarf engineer contingent-we resolve to get him and his peeps drunk on two barrels of ale and 6 bottles of Captain Odenkirk’s emergency whiskey.
Valak sends Grimnok the Ogre on a mission to inform Sacarac Fire Axe about the plans, and the likelihood of ambushing Capt. Varning. Grimnok leaves having been given supplies and potion to assist him.
Pretor discovers someone, apparently the innkeeper sneaking around at night. He follows him to a storage area behind the tavern’s bar. After waiting for a decent interval, he follows him in to discover stairs leading down to another storage area. After an exhaustive search for a secret door, and without the return of the innkeeper or anyone else, Pretor leaves the area and returns to tell his roommate Xander about the incident. They decide to investigate later. Considering the history of the Inn, a secret tunnel to the residence of local caste is likely.
Picket gets lists from Goya’s, the local apothecary and Liam Neeson’s Magic shop and we buy a bunch of shit: 241 gp for bird poison to make sure ravens don’t get away. 400 gp for a Mighty Maw to make special Inks. 2000 gp for a Bag of Holding. 2750 gp to make a ‘common peoples’ party’ for Solstice. 150 gp for a Water Breathing Potion. 4gp for meat for the ogre. 75 gp for Pretor to get an emo as fuck raven familiar. Total cash outlay is 5620 beans
Plans are finalized with the whole party present.

Its “Barhold” not Garhold, and he is not the commander of the keep.

Its “Mott” not Math.

Tacitus doesnt keep the ravens.

There is no accounting for the stone duster attachment for the MI-T Maw.
