Neither Mother or Father have anything of real substantial value on them. Mother has a simple finely carved gold ring worth maybe 25gp.

The boxes, crates, and bags contain mostly personal effects. There are a couple of chests that have what looks like family heirlooms and stuff (a couple of big, fancy bound books in old dwarvish scripts, some small portraits of various dwarves, a couple of quilts, that kind of stuff). There is also a largish chest that has a set of well used stone mason tools.

There is a box with a little food, water, and ale up under the drivers bench.

Total value of everything is maybe 250gp, tops.

And the short sword Father was reaching for. Its just a nicely made dwarven blade worth regular book.

Looks like Mother and Father were moving to stay.

Tucked up underneath a bunch of other stuff is a smallish chest, maybe a cubic foot or so, with a lock on it.

Inside you see what looks like a bunch of bricks wrapped in wax paper.

The bricks are made of some kind of crystalline substance that has been compressed.

None of you guys has seen anything like this before.

There are no markings on anything.
