Based on my memory of last night's discussion on Inspiration in this campaign.
Inspiration can be used in a couple of different ways. First is for advantage on any non-damage roll. Attacks, saves, ability checks, whatever. If you roll a d20 for it, you can burn an Inspiration to get advantage.
Second is to add a single d6 to to any roll that you, or a member of your party makes, including damage.
You can use inspiration after you roll, but before the outcome is known.
Inspiration can be passed to another player.
Inspiration does not carry past the particular session in which it is earned. I want you guys to use the stuff. That being said, we will probably allow the occasional carry over in the cases of inspiration earned late session, or inspiration earned by forum activity.
