Based on Status spell from 3.5

After the activation ritual is performed-

Any branded member of the Forsaken, Grim included, may use an action to determine the following things about any other branded member as long as both are on the same plane of existence-

Relative direction and estimated distance
If they are unharmed or wounded
If they are near death (expressed in game as currently rolling death saves)
If any of the following conditions are affecting them: Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, Fatigued, Frightened, Incapacitated, Paralyzed, Petrified, Poisoned, Restrained, Stunned or Unconscious

If the targeted member is dead or on another plane of existence, this ability does not function.

Each branded member may use this ability once per short rest.
